A contact can be either an individual or an entity.

An entity can be a company, an organization, a hotel, a public administration, etc.

The ATTRIBUTE field allows filtering contacts according a criteria  defined by the customer. For example, letter A can
determine to which contact you plan to send New-year wishes or season greetings.

However, two letters are reserved by the systeme as they have a special meaning:

B is a reserved letter that points to a body where you have an account. It can be a bank, a company petty-cash account, a
person or any entity that holds money on your behalf.  When entering B in the
ATTRIBUTE field a CURRENCY field will
appear as a required field.

E is a reserved letter that defines the current contact as a diamond sorter. When goods will be dispatched to sorters in the
sorting module than only those contacts who have B as attribute will appear in the related field.

The link field is a special feature that links the contact to another contact. For example, the current contact could be an
employee from a company that is itself also a contact.
